  Pornography in the Marriage

  the magazine that they are studying in the congregation this month has an article at the back about how pornography in a marriage could damage the relationship.. there's one piece of advice that sounds rather scary, the wt suggests that the couple should "consider asking an elder with whom you are both comfortable to sit in and guide your discussions for a time.".

  how many of you would want an elder present in your home while you and your partner discussed your personal sexual cravings and the type of porn videos being watched?.

  A brother gave the talk about oral& one time. Tall slender wife, did they research? I think so.

  As for discussions with an elder (shouldn't it be 2?), where does foreplay cross the line?

  There is an obsession with breasts, mostly ignoring butts, legs, etc. I'll let you guess, but certain views will swivel my head

  i heard of a jw wedding that:.

  (a)wasn’t done in a kh, and was performed by an elder.

  (b)the ceremony was done on a sunday.. i find this surprising for 2 reasons.

  Ceremony and reception at the same place works well. Using a hall for anything related to recreation is forbidden.

  If you do want a KH wedding or funeral, lineup behind regular meetings, CO visit (all 3 or more congregations), assembly, pioneer school and other people wanting ceremonies. Wait 2 or 3 months.

  my grandmother, an immigrant from austria, was.

  two of my aunts, their husbands, both elders, various cousins and two of my sisters are witnesses.

  so is my grand uncle.

  Universally true. Old horses get shot. No work? No attention. The few visits are after doorto door, not during. Then talk only of the " hope".

  Along with things willed to WT, a few greedy elders will try to get money or things beforehand. I know 3 instances where the " flock" bought things at 5 cents on the dollar, mostly the elders family choosing first.

  Thought on “0 hours” reporting

  so everyone knows the “big news” of this past weekend, no more reporting of hours, placements, return visits, etc.

  beginning november 1, jws just tick a box indicating whether they “shared in any form of the ministry during the month”.. so there was a brief comment by a redditor that seems like a brief joke “throwaway comment” but after thinking about it….why not?.

  the idea is, what is “any form of the ministry”?
